スーパーボールはアメリカンフットボールの最高の試合で、毎年２月上旬の日曜日に開催されます。
家族や友達などが集まってこの試合を見る人が多く、アメリカで感謝祭の次に食事消費量が多いと言われるくらいにみんなで食べて、スーパーボールを見て大騒ぎをします。
テレビの視聴率も40％を超える最大級のスポーツイベントです。
Super Bowl is the most important championship game in American Football.
It is held on a Sunday in early February each year.
Many people gather as families and friends to watch the game.
In America this is the second largest food consumption day after Thanksgiving Day.
Everybody eats and watches and gets crazy excited about the game.
With a TV ratings above 40%, this is the largest televised sporting event.
我が家のスーパーボールと言えば、
「ボールがまん丸じゃないスポーツだよね？」
と言うくらい、あまりスポーツ観戦に感心の無い旦那の元で生活しているために、家族全員があまりスーパーボールを見ることは無いのですが…。
義理弟はスーパーボールの熱狂的大ファン！
Regarding of the Super Bowl at our home…
"This is the game with the non-round ball, isn't it?",
says my husband who doesn't have much interest in watching sports,
His influence extends to us, and our family doesn't watch the game.
But our Brother-in-law is a very big crazy fan of the Super Bowl.
別の義理妹夫婦が昨年コロラドに引っ越したのですが、2016年のスーパーボールは『パンサー カロライナ』対、地元の『ブロンコス コロラド』の試合になりました。
義理妹夫婦が、試合がある日の日曜日に教会に行ってみて、礼拝堂を開けてびっくり！
Another sister-in-law and her husband moved the Denver Colorado area last year.
This year's Super Bowl 2016 was between the Carolina Panthers and the local Denver Broncos.
When sister-in-law and her husband went to church on "Super Bowl Sunday" , they were surprised when they went into chapel!
教会では試合のことで騒ぐわけにはいかないので、ほとんどの男性がコロラド代表のユニフォームの色のオレンジのネクタイをしていました。
こんな方法でも地元チームを応援しているんですね！
At church, since we can't show too much excitement about the game,most of the men were wearing orange neckties, the same color as the Denver Bronco's team colors.
In this way, they can show support for the local team.
観客席も同じ色の服を着ているのが分かりますね。
This is the Colorado Broncos team.
You can see the spectators in orange too.
サンクスギビングとスーパーボールの食事の違いのことを言いましたが
サンクスギビングはフォーマルなディナーとして食べることが多いです。
Since we mentioned food, lets compare Thanksgiving Dinner, and Super Bowl.
